The benefit of working as an call agent is that you don't need to work in office. And you probably already owns most of the tools required to get started. The necessary tools are a computer or a laptop, broadband speed Internet connection and a headset with microphone.

The job will depend on the company you work with. It can be taking incoming calls from potential and existing customers who want to ask about the products or services of the company. Or making outbound calls (not cold calling) to existing customers.

The company will not want their customers hear noises like your kids are running around the house, baby crying and etc while you are talking to them over the phone. This is a rule you must comply because the company may listen to some of your calls when appraising your performance.
