Most people want to use Google AdSense simply because it works. It is an effective Advertising network that can help you make a lot of money online because it delivers CPC ads that are highly targeted to the content of your website and blog.

Google AdSense is a quality contextual advertising network and they did have a set of rules and policies to help maintain the quality and integrity of their AdSense program. No following the rules and policies could result your AdSense account being suspended. Below are the dos and don’ts when using AdSense:

- Post a privacy policy on your sites. Few weeks ago Google updated their AdSense terms and conditions with one new requirement that all publishers must have a privacy policy posted on all their AdSense sites to advice visitors specifically about cookies and web beacons. - Read the program policies and the terms and conditions completely. This is to make sure you don't against any of the AdSense rules.

- Read AdSense forums, blog and articles so that you can learn from others’ experiences and mistakes.

- Learn how to optimize your AdSense ads to achieve high CTR. Test and experiment different type of optimization methods to achieve the best AdSense performance. Realize it takes time and work to see result.

Don'ts
- Never, ever, ever click on your own ads. So be very careful when you are navigating your own site.

- Never ask your friends and family members to click on AdSense ads. Rather, make money by recommending them to join Google Adsense program.

- Don’t participate in Google Adsense program strictly for fast money. AdSense isn't a get-rich-quick program. Focus on building quality content site and blog to make AdSense works well for you.

- Don't particapte your AdSense site in traffic exchange and auto surf programs as these programs can get your AdSense closed by Google.

- Don’t worry if you don’t understand everything the first day. Google Adsense program is user-friendly, take some time to learn it and you will soon understand and be familiar on the different aspects of AdSense.
